Spanish electric supercar Volar-E from the company Applus Idiada in its final form was laid bare for the cameras at the circuit de Catalunya. The designers call it the most powerful electric car prototype in the world. There are four electric motors, each of which results in his wheel. The decision, by the way, it
possible to introduce an innovative system of thrust vector control with independent control of each motor, which is successfully combined with an active chassis dvuhdverki. Peak output of all motors together is 735-800 kW (HP 1000-1088, the data here indicate contradictory). True, the total time is not as big as was stated previously: "only" 1000 N • m
Quick charging battery lasts 15-20 minutes. Though the battery capacity is quite respectable 38 kW • h (this is 1.6 times greater than that of pyatidverki Nissan Leaf). Spaniards do not lead passport power reserve, but we can estimate that the careful handling of the accelerator pedal on the new coupe can travel about 200 kilometers. How many minutes and the battery sits in combat mode - appreciate yourself. By the way, working off a quick charge was one of the major goals of the project: a system in the future can get ordinary electric vehicles.
This powerplant enables a new coupe to develop 300 km / h and accelerates from zero to hundred in 3.4 seconds (this is comparable with the dynamics of the Tesla). For fine tuning of all systems the driver can choose between four driving modes: economy, dynamic, racing and optimized for wet track. Recall that Volar-E was built in less than four months. Perhaps such a short time due to the fact that the development of machine engineers took as a basis the 1000-strong electric supercar Rimac Concept_One 2011 (and he, in theory, is soon to enter the small-scale production).
